This site was formed as I was watching “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.” I had watched that movie many times before, but back then, in the early 2000s, it was the first time that I watched it through the eyes of an Astrologer.

At first, just for mental fun, I constructed a very basic chart for the character, focusing only on his Sun (a Sagittarius, of course! :)), Moon, and Ascendant, based on the information that was presented in the series of the (back then, three) Indiana Jones films. I then moved on to work on other characters and created their charts by also including the other eight planets (Mercury through Pluto), house placements, and aspects that corresponded with their background, family life, reactions to situations, statements, communication style, body language, relationships, profession, and other elements that were presented in their respective films, which formed a more elaborate horoscope for each of them. Then I analyzed those charts.

The amount of information that can be found in one horoscope is massive, and endless life manifestations can be expressed by each given detail. Therefore, not everything should be expected to be discussed in one astrological session; something that many inexperienced astrologers are not sure how to tackle. Having said that, not everything that’s visible in any given chart on this website will be scrutinized. Like in a one-on-one reading, there is so much that the Astrologer can talk about. A seasoned professional can detect the general themes in a horoscope, bunch them together, and by doing so, organize the miscellaneous data into a cohesive story. This is the creative part of any astrological interpretation.

My lifelong passion for the movies, in combination with my (obsessive) fascination with Astrology are combined here in what I hope are fun-to-read examinations of many mainstream cinematic characters that will hopefully assist students of Astrology of all levels to better grasp its many facets in action, as well as entertain them in the process.

Although the charts here are totally fictional, the rules of astrology still apply. For example, Mercury and Venus are still up to 28 and 48 degrees away from the Sun, respectively; planets between an approximate square to an opposition from the Sun will be Retrograde; degrees of orb will be maintained; and aspects will provide the same meanings as in real life.

Again, I stress that not everything that is visible in the following charts will be discussed. I’ve made a point to focus on the relevant expressions presented in the films. This is not to say that you can’t add interpretations of your own. I actually welcome you to do so in the Comments section below.

Lastly, although most, if not all of the characters analyzed here are considered to be known, the fact of the matter is that the generational gap among the readers will probably result in some unfamiliar characters to each of you. Taking that in mind, I’ve tried to give examples and/or quote the characters when applicable so you can connect the dots as much as possible if you’ve never watched their respective films. However, I highly recommend making an effort to first read the analysis, then watch the movie, and finally review the article again, to get a full feel of the character discussed.

I’ve had a lot of fun reverse-engineering the horoscopes presented here. I truly hope that the following analyses will organize the vast astrological knowledge that each of you probably store in your head. To me, that was a stepping stone in my early days of study. Once I learned to categorize the material in any given chart, the story started to reveal itself. I hope that my interpretations here will help you the same way.
